A new school year of AR kicked off at the beginning of September and we are delighted that nine of our pupils have reached the next level in their AR journey.
Well done goes to Jake (P4), Lexi (P4), Hannah (P4), Maci (P5), Kayla (P5), Hollie (P5), Holly (P5), Fionn (P5) and Cian (P6) on their success.
Looking at some data from our AR programme so far, our most popular books read recently include Billionaire Bay by David Walliams, George’s Marvellous Medicine by Road Dahl and The Big Little Dinosaur by Martin Waddell.
As of today our P3’s to P7’s inclusive have read over half a million words between them since the start of September: 574,642 to be precise!
There is great progress being made with reading across the whole school and we would continue to encourage as much reading as possible to be done at home too.
