*** School Clean Up ***
We in St Joseph’s are a school that are very environmentally aware and we recognise the importance of ensuring that our building and its surrounding grounds are always kept in good order.
Today our pupils ventured out into their immediate environs to undertake a clean up. Armed with litter pickers and refuse bags provided by the local council, we covered every inch of our property ensuring that all rubbish was cleared.Our pupils took great pride in ensuring that they contributed to the upkeep of their school. They took ownership of the task and are to be commended for this.
We are currently undertaking our Eco Schools’ Green Flag assessment under the stewardship of Mrs Toner and our Eco Council. Today’s clean up was an another important aspect of promoting environmental awareness in St Joseph’s.
